Hello!
I am consciously aware that I have been lagging behind so terribly in my blog posts! Work is getting crazy and those days of coming home late have been more often than I would like them to be - it's hard to find a balance between investing time in what brings home the bacon and time in the people who really matter!
Which sort of explains why I'm using an old layout I did for the PaperHaus magazine for a Scrap for Help challenge. Did I mention that this is my first DT experience with PaperHaus and it has been a whale of a time so far! If not for the overwhelming commitments to other stuff, I suspect I would have applied for a lot more DT calls than the husband will be happy with :p
Anyway, back to my entry. It's a tutorial I did back in December, you can find the details here. Looking back at the photos, I really kind of miss the fun and the snow we had there in Korea. Now eldest is playing pretend that it's always freezing and asking to go to a "cold country" where he can see snow and walruses (???). I doubt I will bring him to the Arctic or Antartica, but a trip to visit Santa Claus and the aurora borealis might be in order sometime in the future I hope.
And here's the entry for the challenge:
We're supposed to use something woody (not the cowboy from Toy Story) or twigs. I happened to picked up some from the planted areas near our block and used them for this layout. It's always nice to have a little piece of nature around.
Some little details:
Well, I'm just going to sign off now. It's Saturday night and we've got a movie going on. See you soon!
love,
